This ZodiAxolotl was inspired by the constellations Virgo and Crater. Virgo birthdays are August 23 to September 22. The constellations are hand painted using the International Astronomical Union (IAU) star maps. Each constellation is accented with artist-crafted, glow in the dark resin giving the finished axolotl a bright, unique glowing constellation. The constellation boundaries are added using a different ratio of pigment to resin to make a bold but not overwhelming image.
